As a Director, Director of Photography, and Editor, Chris Marcus’ work traverses feature films, commercials, shorts, documentaries, and webisodes.
With an exacting vision as his guideline, he has mastered the inner-workings of high quality content. In all capacities, he has achieved a strong body of work that continues to grow in scope, momentum and acclaim.
With 20th Century Fox having distributed his last feature film, I AM - a thoughtful reflection on contemporary faith, he returned for a second collaboration with writer/director John Ward, a film titled Heart of the Country, as the Director of Photography and Editor.
Currently in post-production and readying for distribution, this feature length film stars television and film actor Gerald McRaney (SAG Award nominee for Deadwood) and country singer and One Tree Hill star Jana Kramer (who released the highest charting female country debut since Taylor Swift).
Building off the creative success of his first feature (I Am is now for sale at Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Target, Best Buy, Amazon and for rent at Blockbuster and Netflix) Marcus has crossed a new milestone with the visual work in Heart of the Country. The film also marks a project escalation to a seven figure budget.
His visual talents take him and his work around the globe. His quality of output, care and drive, bring him back to the set, where he continues to produce top tier work for an ever-growing client list.
